Father's Day Picnic, Mantua Campgrounds

 3 little monkey cousins...

 Our awesome game of softball:
Harper and Clara have to stick together.

 Batter up!
 Grill masters!
 The group:
Look at these hooligans.  LOVE it.
 The view from home plate:

Hyrum Dam

Early this summer, Natalie and I packed up our kids and went to the beach.  Yes, when you are landlocked, you can call such places as stinky Hyrum Dam "the beach."  It was a gloriously warm late-afternoon, and the kids had a super time.  I'm not sure why the photos are kind of washed out- probably some sunscreen smeared across the lens.
Jake is a swimming MACHINE this year.  Way to go, Jake!  Last year at this time he wanted nothing to do with swimming.
Baby Cooper!  He enjoyed eating the sand and drinking the water.  Amazingly, he didn't get sick!
This could seriously be a picture of me at her age.
My little surfer boy, Finn.  (Again, we're landlocked, people.  Give us a break.  This is our surfing.)
So precious.
Burying Jade in the sand...

Swimming to the buoy.
Natalie and Cooper.

Bestest best buddies in the world:  Jade and Jake.
On again, off again best buddies in the world:  Ruby and Owen.

Nakie boy!
Soooo happy!

Tender big/little brother shot.

Fabulous fun in the sun.

Summerfest and Cousin Time.

Gabrielle, Elizabeth, and Nikolas stayed with us for a few days while Sara was in Washington D.C. with Alexandra.  We rode bikes over to the annual Summerfest for lovely music from Leaping Lulu, as well as cotton candy as big as your head.  Bigger, actually.
Gabrielle!
Jack!

Jake!
Finn!
Harper!
 Kent Braddy and Leaping Lulu.
 Yummy!

Harper and Lilly Kirby would be best gal pals had the Kirbys not moved away.  :(
More good times with the cousins.  I love this pic of Harper and the cousins at Adams.
Front porch snacking.
Silly boys.
Elizabeth watered the flowers for me!
