Owen's 5th birthday party can only be described as:  MAGICAL.  I will elaborate more later, but had to put up some pics for Jason to see what he missed...

Changing of the guard. Or something like that.

 

The Perkes have moved to Hyde Park, and we will miss them so much.  Darren Perkes has been the Bishop of our ward for 3 years now, and is so loved by one and all.  Not to mention Missy, who is one of my all-time favorite people.  She is the best Mom, wife, friend, etc...  We will miss having them be just around the corner.

 Sooooooo, who's the new Bishop of the Logan 9th Ward?  Jason Jared Lambert, my honey.  Yep.   I kind of feel like everyone else who doesn't know if they should congratulate him or offer condolences...  It's a big job.  And following such an awesome leader as Darren Perkes is daunting.  But he'll be just fine.  He's amazing, and loves the members of our ward so much.  

 I guess it's time for me to be on my best behavior...

Salt Lake Overnighter.

 

Jason was working at Winter OR in Salt Lake last weekend, so we decided to join him on Friday night for Friday Family Fun Night, our newest tradition.  (Very new tradition... just 3 weeks old now.)  The kids swam in the Little America pool until they were pruny.  

The next morning we went to the Clarke Planetarium to see the IMAX movie "Fly Me to the Moon."  It was a very cute little movie, and Finn slept through the entire thing.  The boys were hilarious to watch, especially Jake.  I think it was a little to realistic for him.  He was constantly swatting at things, kicking at things, or cowering in his chair.  They all LOVED it.  It was the perfect little getaway.

Love the Lomo

I got Jason 2 Lomo cameras for Christmas. They are seriously cool. One takes 8 exposures per frame, and the other is a fish-eye lens. Jason is having a great time with them. I had a hard time deciding what kind of cameras to choose. Next I want the one that takes 4 vertical exposures at once!

Hooray for Mac users!  Yesterday a Mac version of Picasa was released.  I am having fun trying it out, and wasting a bunch of time with it.
