The boys have been working like crazy to earn a trip to the legendary LAGOON. My awesome Mom took Jake and Finn so we could take Bennett and Owen on some big people rides and not have to haul around diapers, strollers, etc. Aaaaahhhhhhh. It was so relaxing. Jason and I felt like we were on a mini-vacation or something! Also, somehow we picked a great day to go; all the lines were super short, and it wasn't too hot. Here are some highlights:
Somehow we convinced the boys to go on the ooooold white roller coaster. They felt a little betrayed afterwards, I think. It really is a little scary because it is so old and rickety. But fun! Here's Jason going up:
Surprisingly, the boys were fascinated with Pioneer Village. They loved looking in the old schoolhouse, church, cabins, etc. Oh, and of course the armory. They also loved: ARBY'S.

Lagoon always brings back a flood of (embarrassing) memories from teenage summers past. I'm soooo glad those days are over! :)
