Snips and snails and puppy dog tails...

(What the heck are snips?  Anyway...)

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to keep you waiting, Jami!  Yes, we had Bennett open the envelope on Christmas Eve.  We closed our eyes, and he read the news to us, "BOY!  It's a BOY!  B-O-Y, BOY!"  We all screamed and did a happy dance.  It was so fun!!!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!  Of course I'll post some Christmas photos soon.

A quartet of lads led by one great Dad--what could be finer! The whole family is rejoicing and waiting, waiting until that happy day in May. -- Gramma Linda

Oh...and one great Mom! I just couldn't make Mom or Brooke rhyme with lad!

Since I'm a librarian, I tried to find out the definition of "snips," prowling through the Oxford English Dictionary and other slang dictionaries. Snips has variously meant bargains, handcuffs, and swindles, but the most likely explanation is that the poem orginally said "snips OF snails." That would make sense, considering the structure.

Four Lambert boys! Congratulations, I can't think of a better woman to be raising males than a patient and loving mother like yourself. The Tay Team is happy for you.
